This is a poster for an exhibition titled État temporaire: Mutagenèse. Mutagenesis is the process of genetic modification imposed either intentionally or spontaneously and resulting in mutations in the object exposed. The theme of hybridization is visualized with a fluid interweaving of two images that come from nature (birds) and computers (motherboards). The images create a new hybrid pattern in a general form, which seems to be a close-up of a microbe with its shape changing into letters, starting clockwise from the upper left corner: M U T A G E N E S E.

For the radian concert I wanted to create a kind of window shutter on which the information as well as a strongly reduced image were placed. In the animated version of the poster the window shutter opens and closes.

This is a promotional poster series for the exhibition Bally—The Shoe Business at the Museum für Gestaltung in Zürich. One hundred years of fine shoemaking and traditional craftsmanship from Switzerland is being displayed at the design museum. Each of the three single color posters highlights a classic model from the collection. The precise typographic tradition of the enigmatic Bally posters from the 1950s and ’60s is being reinterpreted with a contemporary approach: A simple and reduced vector form of each shoe model “clashes” with inverted bold letters.

Self-promotional poster for the ten-year anniversary of the studio babyinktwice. The concept of time is reflected with roman numbers that seem old-fashioned and almost cryptic—but still legible. The largest X is the only letter that is starting to dance: It’s a ten-year jubilee! The poster has been letterpress printed from hand-cut linoleum in an edition of 250 posters.
