K.H. Drescher—Berlin Typo Posters, Texts, and Interviews
Karl-Heinz Drescher (1936–2011) worked from 1962 as an in-house graphic designer for Berliner Ensemble, the famous East-Berlin theatrical company founded by Bertolt Brecht. For the first time, this book compiles the majority of the typographic posters that Drescher designed for the theater and other clients in one volume. Included are essays and interviews by various authors, as well as ninety-five typographic posters from over forty years of graphic work. This publication serves as a review of the extraordinary life of a graphic designer and print enthusiast.
