3D Sculptural Type
This piece was originally an assignment for my diploma of design. The idea behind this piece was to create a typeface and specimen without restrictions and that catch your eye. When designing this piece, I always intended to use geometric shapes because it’s an area of design I love but don’t get to do often. When creating the specimen, I wanted to highlight the use of geometric shapes by using 3D printed parts to create a 3D representation of the flat illustration.
